About the Studio
A Versatile Studio for Your Comfort and Creativity
Our studio is designed to meet the needs of any production, providing drive-in access via large double doors for easy unloading of equipment and props, regardless of the weather. An industrial heating system ensures you and your clients stay warm and comfortable throughout your session, and our flexible opening hours can accommodate any scheduling requirements. The studio is fully protected by a comprehensive security system, including CCTV and an alarm, for your peace of mind.
We offer free Starlink satellite WiFi, keeping you connected at all times. Inside, you’ll find a high-gloss white resin floor that reflects an abundance of soft natural light streaming from overhead skylights. At one end of the studio, a 10-meter wide white infinity cove provides a perfect backdrop for a wide range of shoots, with additional themed backdrops available around the space. For aerial shots or performances, we also offer an electric winch system in the roof space, ideal for silks or hoops.
Our professional makeup area features four daylight mirrors, making it perfect for makeup training sessions or larger commercial shoots with multiple makeup artists. In addition to the indoor facilities, bookings include access to our stunning 1.5-acre garden, complete with a timber gazebo, nautical-themed outdoor kitchen, and over 100 trees that create beautiful shadows and bokeh effects.
With a total floor space of 2,700 square feet (32 ft wide by 90 ft deep) and a ceiling height of 13 ft, the studio offers plenty of room to bring your creative vision to life. We also provide a 30 ft roller vinyl backdrop (in grey or white), as well as a variety of other backdrop options to suit your needs.
You and your crew can relax in our comfortable ‘Chill Area’, where complimentary tea and coffee are always available, or make use of our fully equipped separate kitchen with a fridge, kettle, and more. A spacious changing area, complete with a 9 x 7 ft mirror wall, is also included to ensure a seamless and stress-free experience.
Location & Booking
Nestled in the serene Blackdown Hills AONB, our studio offers a peaceful yet convenient setting for your shoot. We’re located just off the A303, near Ilminster, and only 12 miles from the M5. This prime location provides easy access from Taunton, Exeter, and surrounding areas.
For those traveling by car, simply take the A303 and follow signs for Ilminster; you’ll find us just a few minutes outside the town. With ample parking and drive-in studio access, arriving and unloading your gear couldn’t be easier.
